Simple Elegant Bracelet With Accents
Elegant handmade bracelet with a spiral design. The bracelet is made with shiny faceted beads, interspersed with fine donut beads that provide a very nice accent for a unique look and stylish contrast. Despite the delicate design, this bracelet is incredibly simple to make! You only need four items and in no time you will have an elegant homemade bracelet on your wrist to complement your stylish looks or a festive occasion!
Supplies
Faceted Glass Beads Black Shine 6x4mm
Tibetan Donut Beads Silver 8x2mm (prefer gold? Click here!)
Step-by-step
- Cut a 1 meter piece of S-lon wire. Put the wire in double and make a firm knot in the middle with one faceted bead in it. This will be the clasp.
- Take the two loose ends of the wire, thread a faceted bead onto the left wire and lower it to the knot (see Figure 1).
- Then thread a donut bead through both wires at the same time and lower it to the facet bead (see Figure 2).
- Thread a faceted bead on the right thread and lower it to the donut bead (see Figure 3).
- Keep repeating these steps; a faceted bead on the left, then a donut bead through both threads, then a faceted bead on the right (see Figure 4).
- Repeat until the bracelet is the desired length (measure it based on the circumference of your wrist).
- At the end, make a flat knot with both wires together to secure the beads securely. A little further, make another flat knot in the wire, this will form a small loop.
- After the last flat knot, cut the remaining wire down to the knot and burn closed with a lighter or use a small drop of jewelry glue to make sure the knot doesn't come loose.
Your bracelet is now ready! The clasp works by putting the first knotted faceted bead through the loop you made.
