How to Make a Miyuki Namebracelet - Beadweaving
Weaving bracelets with miyuki beads is a super fun technique that you can use in all kind of ways! Here i used our alphabet pattern to make a name and quote bracelet. The pattern is 7 rows wide but you van add more beads on the side if you want (like i did with the white dream bracelet)
In this video we show you exactly how to make a miyuki beadloom bracelet.
Used materials
Jewel loom beadloom
Miyuki delica's 11/0
Beadloom needle
C-lon thread
Tube endcaps
Jewelry glue
Lobster clasp
Chain
In the dream bracelet i used the following colors:
Opaque white
Galvanized gold
In the merel bracelets i used the following colors:
Galvanized gold
Antique rose
Light mint
Luster mallard
How many beads and rows do you need?
If you use 11/0 delica beads you can count about 6 beads per centimeter in length. For measuring the wright size of your bracelet take your wrist size minus 2,5cm for the clasp and endcaps.
E.g. if your wrist is 17cm you need 14,5cm of beads. 14,5 * 6 = 87 rows (can slightly vary how tight the beads are woven)
