How to make:
The satincord bracelets: you’re going to braid these bracelets. Cut to equally long pieces of satincord. Grab the ballchain and tie the three materials at the top. This makes it easier to start braiding. When you’ve braided them together, make a double knot with the satin cord, not with the ballchain; leave this one hanging. Cut the remaining satin cord as close to the knot as possible and finish these ends with a lighter, so that it melts/hardens and thus stays in place. Cut the ballchain and make sure you have two 'balls' left at the end. Apply a knot cover to the last ball. Then, thread the split ring through the hole in the knot cover. Now all you have to do is add the split ring and the extension chain and you're done! Repeat this on the other side, but with the lobster clasp instead of the split ring and the extension chain.
The bracelet with glass pearls: thread your pattern on to the nylon thread and finish with a crimp bead, followed by a split ring. Thread the nylon thread back through the crimp bead and squeeze the bead with a flat nose plier. Then, finish this side with a jump ring + extension chain. Repeat this on the other side, but with the lobster clasp instead of the split ring and the extension chain. Note: on the other side, slide the beads well together before pressing the crimp bead, so the nylon thread is not visible and the beads do not move side-to-side that much.
How Do You Make A Lobster Clasp On Your Jewelry?
In the video below you can see how to finish a bracelet with a lobster clasp.
The cone bead bracelet: thread your pattern onto the elastic. Make a double knot with both ends of the elastic. Cut the remaining elastic as close to the knot as possible and apply a little bit of clear nail polish to the knot. Let it dry before wearing the bracelet.
How do you make an elastic bracelet?
In the video below you can see how to make a bracelet with elastic.
The holiday bubble earrings: thread the glass bead on to the jump ring. Then, thread three Miyuki beads on both sides of the glass bead. Finally, add the 5mm spacer bead and close the jump ring. Thread a new jump ring through the spacer bead and repeat the beading pattern. Make as many ‘bubbles’/hoops as you want and finish the last hoop with a smaller spacer bead as the end. You’re going to fiddle a bit but you 'get' (actually make ;) ) very nice earrings in return!
