Necklace with Polymer Beads, Katsuki and Watermelons
This fun set of necklaces is easy to make yourself! With our wide range of polymer beads and the different colors of katsuki beads, you can make your own fun combination!
Pearl necklace with polymer beads:
Start by cutting about 80cm of nylon thread. Thread a lobster clasp and fold the nylon wire in half. Make sure the ends of the wire are even and that the clasp hangs in the middle. Then thread a crimp bead over both threads and pinch it in place, close to the clasp. Use a pinch bead cover for a nice finish. Now thread 5 freshwater pearl beads, a spacer bead rondelle, a polymer bead and another spacer bead rondelle. Repeat until you have strung 10 polymer beads and finish with 5 freshwater pearl beads. Now thread a pinch bead and the extension chain. Go back through the pinch bead so that the extension chain is in the loop. Leave a little room for the bead cover and pinch the bead. Finally, use another pinch bead cover to finish it off neatly.
Necklace with Katsuki and pearl beads:
For this necklace, the technique is the same as described above. For this necklace, cut about 90cm of the nylon thread. Thread 1 end of the toggle clasp and fold the nylon in half. Again, make sure the ends are equal and thread a pinch bead. Hide the pinch bead again and thread about 12 freshwater pearl beads. Then thread a bicone spacer bead and about 20 katsuki beads. Thread a new bicone spacer bead, 1 freshwater pearl bead and another bicone spacer bead. Repeat 8 times and finish with a bicone spacer bead and 1 pearl bead. Now thread 11 more freshwater pearl beads and a pinch bead. Next, thread the other side of the toggle clasp and go back through the pinch bead. Pinch this in place and again use a pinch bead cover.
Stainless steel necklace with charm:
Cut a piece of about 55cm (best to put the chains above on, to determine how long you want the last chain to be). Use 4mm jump rings to attach a lobster clasp and an extension chain to both ends. Take a snap on and attach it to the charm. Thread the charm onto the chain and then the whole set is complete!
