How to make a Flower Necklace and Earring Set
This fun set is easy to make yourself and with our large assortment of gemstone beads, you can get started right away!
Watch the video below for a fun variation on this technique!
Start by cutting about 20cm of C-lon thread and it through the beading needle. Next, thread 5 gemstone beads and pass the needle back through the first bead. Now thread 2 more gemstone beads and go back through the 3rd bead. now you have the shape of the flower. To make the flower sturdier, go back through the middle bead again. Continue in the opposite direction through the 1st bead and finish the round, until you reach the starting thread. Now make a double knot and put a bit of jewelry glue on this. To hide the knot, pass the needle through the next bead. Let the glue dry well and then your first flower is finished! You will need 5 flowers for the necklace and 2 flowers for the earrings.
Attach a 4mm jumpring between 2 gemstone beads, by opening it up and hooking around the C-lon wire. Attach another 4mm jumpring to this jumpring and close it up. Do this on both sides of the flower, for all 5 flowers for the necklace. For the earrings, only do this on 1 side. To finish the necklace, cut 4 pieces of 15 links. Attach a flower to both sides. Finally, cut 2 pieces of approximately 54 links. Attach the extension chain to one side and the lobster clasp to the other. And then the necklace is finished!
If all goes well the earrings now have 2 jump rings on 1 side. Thread the jumpring around the earring hook and then the whole set is done!
