How to make a Bracelet and Earring Set with Suede Cord

This jewelry set is easy to make yourself! Create your own fun color combination with our great assortment of suede cord.

Earrings:

For this design I used 5 different colors of suede cord. Start by cutting off about 6cm of each color and already determine in which order you want it to go. Carefully open the end cap a little further, use a flat nose pliers for this. Start with the first color and put a drop of glue on one of the ends. Then slide this first color with the glue into the end cap. Repeat with each color, making sure the same side of the cord is visible at the front. To get everything tight together, put a little glue in between each cord (just a little so it doesn't come out). Press the cord together and let this dry well.
When this is dry, choose a desired length and cut the suede at an angle. When you go to cut the other earring, you may want to lay the cut piece on top of this (so it is even). Open a 4mm jumpring and attach the stud earring.

Bracelet:

The beginning is almost the same, cut 5 pieces of about 25cm. Put a drop of glue on the end and open the end cap a little further. Slide each color into the end cap in the same order. Let this dry for a moment and pinch the end cap closed again. If you have a clipboard at home, you can clip the bracelet into this, otherwise you can just hold the bracelet. Start with the rightmost cord and go over the second-to-last suede cord. Then go under the middle one and again over the 2nd suede cord, Now go under the 1st suede cord. Try to push this as tight as possible against the end cap.
Now start again at the rightmost thread and repeat these steps. When you have reached the left side of the bracelet, fold the cord (the one from the first row) over the cord you were working with. Now repeat this until your bracelet is long enough and then cut off the suede cords. Again, put a little glue on the end and slide the laces on the end cap. Let this dry for a moment and then attach the clasp and the extension chain with a 4mm jumpring.

And then the set is finished!
