Anklet Bracelet from Kauri Shell Beads inspi59703
Anklet Bracelet with Kauri Shells
Summer is around the corner so the perfect time to be making and wearing some anklet bracelets. This design is made with waxed cord but you could use macrame cord just as easy. Take two cords, leave about 15cm (you need this for making the adjustable knot at the end) and make a knot in both cords. Then string one through the shell from the top and the other from the bottom so they cross, make another knot with both threads. Continue until your (anklet) bracelet is long enough and finish with an adjustable knot.
Used materials:
Waxed cord
Kauri shells
Jewelry glue
For the beaded anklet bracelet we used:
Seed beads 2mm
Nylon thread
Crimp beads
Lobster clasp
Chain as an extender
In this video we show you how to make an adjustable knot
This video is for the ankle bracelet (in dutch)
