Necklace with Fun Charms and Braided Cord

This cheerful braided cord necklace in the cutest of colors brings instant sunshine to your outfit. Supplies:

• Braided Cord 2mm
• Starfish Charm
• Fish Porcelain Ceramic Bead
• Coral Charm
• Lampwork Glass Crab Bead
• Evil Eye Charm (Turquoise)
• 4x Stainless Steel Spacer Beads Tube (5x4.5mm, 18K Gold Plated)
• 5x Stainless Steel Charm Bead with Eye (Gold Plated)
• Head Pins (for the fish and crab beads, among others, to attach them to the chain)
• Pliers
• Glue
• Clasp
• End Caps Gold
• Jump rings 4mm

How to make the necklace:

1. Prepare the charms
   
   • Thread loose beads onto a staple pin and make an eye.
   • Other charms hang directly from a bead with an eye using a 4mm jumpring.

2. Attach to the charm beads
   
   • Hang each charm on a gold-colored bead with eye, this way you can easily slide them onto the cord.

3. Thread everything on the cord
   
   • Alternate: charm - spacer bead - charm - spacer bead, etc. Use all 5 charms and 4 spacers.

4. Finish the end
   
   • Place a gold end cap on the cord with a little glue.
   • Pinch the end cap firmly closed with flatbed pliers.
   • Attach an extension chain with lobster clasp to the end cap.

Tips:

• Cut the cord a little longer than needed so you have some slack
• If the cord is a little stiff, you can just light the end with a lighter so it doesn't fray
