Amazonite Gemstone Jewelry
Several techniques were used for this beautiful amazonite jewelry set. Each technique is explained step by step and of course you can also apply it to any of our other gemstones!
Necklace
Start by making all the charms. For the necklace we make 9 times the same charms. For the charm with the disc beads, use 2 disc beads. Thread a spacer bead first, then a disc bead, a spacer bead and finish with another disc bead. Cut the staple pin and twist an eyelet. For this you can watch the handy video below. For both the round 4mm beads and the chip beads, use 1 bead per charm each time.
Now take the chain and cut the middle link. You can find this link by closing the clasp and lifting the chain. Opposite the clasp is the middle link. Cut it and attach a 4mm jumpring on the spot you just cut. Open the eye of the charm and attach it to the jumpring. Hang the charm with the disc beads in the center. To attach the next bundle of charms count 25 links further. Cut the 25th link and repeat the steps as described above. Repeat until you have attached 9 bundles of charms and then the necklace is ready.

Earrings
For the earrings, first thread a gold disc bead and then an amazonite disc bead. Repeat until you have strung 8 amazonite disc beads. Now twist an eyelet as explained above in the video and make sure the eyelet is wide enough to hang the charm on the earring. The second charm you make is almost the same. Thread a gold disc bead and an amazonite disc bead. Now thread 2 gold disc beads and finish with an amazonite and gold disc bead. Again, attach an eye. Thread the charms onto the earring and repeat the steps for the second earring.

Bracelets
We start with the bracelet with elastic. Thread the amazonite beads onto the elastic and thread a gold disc bead after every 5th bead. Repeat until you have used 8 disc beads. Cut the elastic and tie a double knot. use jewelry glue on the knot and let it dry. Cut the elastic off and the bracelet is ready.
For the bracelet with the chip beads, cut a piece of copper wire of about 8cm. leave about 2cm and grab the copper wire with your round pliers. Bend the 2cm piece around the round pliers to make a loop. Now wrap the rest of this 2cm around the longest piece of copper wire. You may want to do the last tip with the flat pliers so that no sharp pieces remain. Thread a chip bead and put your round pliers about 0.5cm above the chip bead. Bend the remaining wire toward the chip bead to make another eye. Now twist the copper wire around itself again as you did at the beginning. Cut off the remaining wire and cut a new piece of about 8cm. Now hook the eye from the previous chip bead to this new piece of copper wire. We are going to join the two pieces together. Bend the new piece again at about 2cm and wrap it around the long piece again. If all goes well, you now have an eye with the previous intermediate piece we made attached to it. Now thread another chip bead and repeat all the steps until the bracelet is long enough. Finally, attach the chapel clasp with a 4mm jumpring to the ends.
