Necklace
1. Measure and cut two chains to the desired length for the top and bottom layers of your necklace.
2. Measure and cut extension chains in different lengths for the draping effect on the chain.
3. Thread the tiger eye faceted beads onto the staple pins. Use the round-nosed pliers to make an eye on both sides of the staple pin. Cut off the excess metal if necessary.
4. Attach the staple pins with the tiger eye beads between the links of the two chains. Make sure they are evenly spaced.
5. Attach the extension chains to the lower chain. Use different lengths to create a nice draping effect.
6. Hang the extension chains exactly under the tiger eye staples for a nicely distributed look.
7. Check all connections and make sure everything is secure. Attach a clasp to the ends of the top jasper chain for a comfortable fit.
Tips:
-Be patient and precise when making the eyelets with the staple pins for a beautiful finish that will last.
Experiment with the length of the extension chains to achieve the desired draping effect, use more or fewer extension chains if necessary :D
Bracelet with Elastic
1. Cut a piece of elastic thread slightly longer than the circumference of your wrist so that you have enough room to tie.
2. Start threading the tiger eye beads onto the elastic. Add a spacer bead after each pair of tiger eye beads for a nice variety.
3. Attach the charm to the center of the bracelet by hanging it between some spacer beads. Make sure the charm is well centered for a symmetrical look.
4. Continue stringing tiger eye beads until you reach the desired length for your bracelet.
5. When you are satisfied with the length of your bracelet and placement of the charm, tie a firm knot in the elastic. Gently pull on both ends of the elastic to make the r beads lie tightly together.
6. If necessary, use a small drop of jewelry glue on the knot to make it extra secure. Cut off the excess elastic, but leave a small piece to strengthen the knot. Slide the knot between a bead for a neat finish.
Tips
-Check the knot carefully before cutting off the excess elastic to prevent the bracelet from becoming loose.
-Use a needle to thread the elastic through the beads if the elastic is having difficulty going through the beads.
Having trouble tying the elastic properly or still afraid the knot will come loose? In the video below, there are some handy tips on how to make your knot!
Earrings
1. Measure and possibly cut the extension chain to the desired length, I left the extension chain the original length for these earrings.
2. Thread the tiger eye beads onto the staple pins. Use the roundnosed pliers to make an eye on one side of the staple pin. Cut off the excess metal. repeat this process for three staple pins per earring, six total.
3. Attach one end of the extension chain to the eyelet of the earring studs. Use the flatbed pliers to tightly close the eyelet so that the extension chain is secure.
4. Attach the three staple pins with tiger eye beads to the different links of the extension chain. Make sure the staple pins are evenly distributed for a beautiful effect.
5. Attach the other end of the extension chain to the eyelet of the earring wing. Make sure everything is securely attached.
6. Repeat the steps for the second earring so that you have a pair.
Handy! The video tutorial below shows you how to easily turn the perfect eyes for staple pens.
With these steps, you will create cool and elegant tiger eye jewelry that will complete any outfit.
