How to Make a Jewelery Set with Amethyst
Amethyst is a beautiful purple-colored gemstone that symbolizes strength, protection and wisdom. In this jewelry set I used the oval shape, for a classic look.
With different techniques, you can easily make this jewelry set yourself! You can also choose to use other gemstones from our wide selection.
Necklaces
For the link chain, cut approximately 55cm. Using a jumpring, attach the clasp to one end and the extension chain to the other. The charm is easily hung on the chain by using a snap on, see the video below.
For the second necklace, cut about 55cm of the satin cord and lay it out on the table. Now cut 50cm of nylon thread and thread a snap on bead. We are now going to make a loop around the satin cord. Count about 10cm from one of the ends of the satin cord and go under the satin cord at that point with the nylon wire. Then go back through the pinch cage and pull the ends of the nylon flush. We are working with double wire for this necklace.
When both ends of the nylon wire are equal, you can pinch the pinch bead closed. Keep a few millimeters away from the satin cord so it has room to slip through. We also work away the pinch bead with a hide and you will need extra space for this as well. Close the pinch bead hideer and start threading two amethyst beads and one spacer bead. Repeat this 6x where
Repeat this 6x ending with two amethyst beads. Now thread a pinch bead and again make a loop around the satin cord. This time at the other end. Work the pinch bead away with a hide and then the first part is done.
Finish the satin cord with a slip knot. Watch the video below on how to make this knot.

Bracelet
Cut the nylon to about 50cm. Again, thread over double wire. Thread a pinch bead and then a lobster clasp. Go back through the pinch bead and pull both threads evenly. Pinch the pinch bead closed and keep enough space for a pinch bead hide. A helpful video on how to use a pinch bead can be found below. Close the hider and thread an amethyst bead and a spacer bead. Repeat 3 times and then thread an amethyst bead and a bead with an eye. Continue completing the bracelet and thread a pinch bead at the end. Then go through the extension chain and back through the pinch bead. Pinch the pinch bead closed and use a hide here as well. Finally, attach the charm using a 4mm jumpring to the bead with eye.
