Making Tiger Eye Necklace and Earrings Set

You can easily make this beautiful set yourself with a few basic techniques. Because of our wide assortment of gemstone beads, you can also make this set in a different color combination!

Necklace
Start by cutting approximately 65cm of nylon thread. Thread a crimp bead and 1 side of the chapter clasp. leave about 3cm of the nylon wire and then go back through the crimp bead. If all goes well, you should now have a loop created to secure the toggle clasp. Pinch the crimp bead and fold a crimp bead cover over this. Now thread as follows:

- Tiger eye bead
- Round acrylic bead
- Tiger eye bead
- Gold spacer bead
- Oval acrylic bead
- Gold spacer bead
- Tiger eye bead

Repeat until you have strung 7x the round acrylic bead. Finish with a tiger eye bead and a crimp bead. Thread the other side of the toggle clasp and go back through the crimp bead. Tighten this, but not too tight (this may cause the beads to stand forward a bit). Pinch the crimp bead flat, keeping in mind the space for the crimp bead cover and fold it around the crimp bead. Finally, attach the shell charm to the round side of the toggle clasp using a 4mm jumpring. The necklace is now ready to be worn!

The earrings
Use a head pin and twist an eye at the tip. Cut off the flat head and thread a round acrylic bead. Bend the staple pin at a 90-degree angle and cut it off. In doing so, leave about 1cm to twist an eye from. On one side attach a 4mm jumpring and earring and on the other side attach the shell charm. Repeat this again and your earrings are also ready!

Vintage acrylic beads round gold black 8mm (necklace and earrings)
Vintage acrylic beads oval black with gold 18x13mm (necklace)
Stainless steel toggle clasp gold 18mm (necklace)
3x Natural freshwater shell charm leaf 49x17x8mm (2 for earrings, 1 for necklace)
Stainless steel earrings 18k gold plated 12x2mm (earrings)
