Metallic Mint Bracelet with Tila's + Pattern
This beautiful pattern is from beadsmagic, my favorite website for special beading patterns, very clear and easy to follow. The first 2/3 'strokes' you have to get used to, but then you see the logic and you can proceed without worrying. I love how you can create completely different styles with the same pattern by using and combining different colors.
The 4mm glass pearls in this pattern can easily be replaced by 3x2mm or 4x3mm faceted beads if you prefer. In this design i used 3x2mm faceted beads and kept everything in the same color scheme. Of course you can combine as many colors as you like, or even work with 2, 3, 4 different colors tila's, beads etc. Choose what you like!
In the patterns is usually indicated where and how you can attach the clasp. This can be a double loop ring where you attach your clasp or extension piece or the eye of a toggle clasp. Do not use jumprings or open links, the c-lon wire you are working with is very thin and this can come loose. To attach the clasp simply thread the wire through the ring or eye and make a knot, repeat 2 to 3 times, put some glue on it and you're ready.
Used materials:
Miyuki tila beads blue green
Miyuki seed beads 11/0 galvanized sea foam
Faceted beads mint green 3x2.5mm
Stainless steel toggle clasp
C-lon thread blue
