Make Beaded Rings with Flowers and Connectors
Super easy and incredibly cute. In these beautiful shades of green, you have a ring for every season.
The principle of an elastic ring is really just stringing the beads on the elastic You measure the size around your own finger and when you're done stringing you make a double knot in the elastic. On the knot you put a little clear nail polish so your knot doesn't come loose. The only difference is connector or a flower in between. Read below what the materials and differences are for each ring.
Ring with star bead:
Freshwater pearls 3mm
Shell bead green star
Ring with butterfly:
Butterfly connector
Seed beads 4mm olive green
For this ring I start by making a double knot around one side of the butterfly and using nail polish to secure the knot. Then I continue threading but with both threads of elastic instead of one. When your ring is big enough you knot it to the other wing as you did in the beginning.
Ring white flowers:
Miyuki seed beads Ceylon ivory pearl white
Opaque luster kaki
Opaque yellow
Nylon thread
Ring green flowers:
Seed beads 2mm olive green
Yellow
Golden shine
Ring big flower:
Faceted beads 4x3mm olive green
Faceted bead 6x4mm yellow
Metal spacer beads 3mm

Between the flowers you can string as many beads as you like. For example, these rings have 2 or 3 beads between the flowers but you can also string just one.
