How To Make a Long Stainless Steel Necklace With Dropbeads

This long necklace is very easy to make yourself. With our big collection of dropbeads, you can choose your own color combinations!

Start with the chunky chain. Decide what length you want the necklace to be and open the link to remove the excess chain. We made the necklace about 65cm. Now you can start with the headpins and dropbeads. Put the dropbead on the headpin and cut it, making sure to leave enough room to twist an eye at the end of the headpin. Repeat this step for each dropbead (we used 5 of the turquoise beads and 4 of each other color, making it 17 beads in total). 

Find the middle part of the chain and attach a turquoise dropbead to that link. Now we skip 3 links and attach the next color to the 4th link, counted from the middle. Repeat this till you have 8 dropbeads at each side and 1 in the middle. 

Lastly you can attach a toggle clasp at the end, by opening the link and attaching it to the toggle clasp. If you make the necklace long enough to fit over you head, you can also opted for no clasp. Just attach the ends together and close them. Now you necklace is ready to wear!
