Make a Sunglasses Cord with Faceted Beads Pale Pink

Summer is coming and it is time to get out our sunglasses again. But how often do you lose your glasses? No worries, make your own sunglasses cord so you can always find your glasses around your neck. It is so simple to make one that you can create a different one for all your glasses and outfits. Check out all the lovely colored beads in our shop that you can use and below we have some nice inspiration for you. I have chosen to work with pale pink and beige because it fits with so many different things. Let the summer begin!

Used materials:

Tibetan spacer beads
Faceted beads 4x3mm peach shine and rose gold
Acrylic beads beige 4mm
Sunglasses cord
Tassel salmon pink
Spacer beads 3mm silver
Stainless steel jumprings 4mm
Jumprings silver 6mm
Crimp beads 2mm silver
Nylon thread 0.3mm

How do you make the sunglasses cord?

- All you actually have to do is string the beads on the nylon thread in the order and colors you prefer. It is better to not cut off the wire until you are completely finished with stringing all the beads. Like this the beads will not roll off while you are working and you can decide the length while you are making it. 
- I have used the faceted beads in the middle of the cord and at the ends I have used the acrylic beads. I finished it with a 3mm spacer bead.
- When you are finished with stringing all your beads, put your thread through a crimp bead, double the thread and put it back through the crimp bead so you create a loop with the nylon thread. Now you can close the crimp bead with you flat nose pliers. You can put back the thread through the last few beads so it does not come loose. 
- Open up a 6mm jumpring and attach it to the plastic loop of the sunglasses cord and to the loop that you made with the nylon thread, do this on both sides. 
- Your cord is almost finished. All that is left to do is attach your tassel. Use a 4mm jumpring that you attach to the tassel and then to the 6mm jumpring. 

Voilà, you are ready for summer!
