Brick stitch earrings with Miyuki beads
These beautiful earrings are made with the Brick stitch technique, a technique that can be used for endless jewellery and accessories. I use this technique very often because it is so versatile. You can make your own pattern and choose colours, so you always have a unique design.
Used materials:
Miyuki Delica's 11/0 Opaque Luster Antique Rose
Miyuki Delica's 11/0 Emerald Lined Cobalt AB
Miyuki Delica's 11/0 Duracoat Galvanized Gold
Faceted Beads Dark Blue Shine 4x3mm
Stainless Steel Earring Hooks Gold 12x15mm
Stainless Steel Jumprings Gold 4mm 18k Gold Plated
Stainless Steel Headpins Gold Color 4cm
C-lon thread Pink
Beading needle 0.46mm
How to make it:
You start by making the middle piece with the Brick stitch technique. When you have done that we are going to make the bottom charm with the faceted bead. Thread the faceted bead onto a headpin and bend an eye on top, then wrap the remaining piece of the staple around it once more. Attach a jumpring to the bottom of the middle piece. Finally, attach another jump ring to the top of the middle piece and fasten it to the earring.
